Alongside, his area of research has transitioned from purely clinical towards cost-effectiveness of health interventions and other aspects of health financing.
Since 2012 Dr. Cardarelli has worked as volunteer and staff surgeon in multiple surgical missions with Dr. Novick’s teams and in 2014 co-founded The William Novick Global Cardiac Alliance.
